Our take on Kiln
Rather than treating customization as a cosmetic layer, the game makes pottery shape part of combat strategy. Crafting a plate, jug, cup, or bowl changes the fighter's attributes and abilities, replacing fixed character builds with physical forms created on a wheel.
What is Kiln?
Kiln combines pottery crafting with team-based arena combat.
Players shape clay on a pottery wheel, choosing forms such as plates, jugs, cups, and bowls. Each pot's size and proportions influence attributes, abilities, and combat style, creating different ways to approach battles. Teams of colorful spirits compete to gather enough water to extinguish the opposing kiln while breaking through enemy lines. A separate area called The Wedge provides space to practice pottery, decorate vessels, and share creations. The game also includes realistic clay manipulation with multiple tools and techniques. Players can experiment with pottery alongside friends or enter multiplayer matches where crafted ceramic bodies become their fighters.
