Our take on City Multi Fun
Players looking for narrative direction will hit the wall at the start: there is no story or mission structure to set goals. Those expecting a private solo campaign may also stop at the multiplayer hosting model, which is built around a second player joining the host.
What is City Multi Fun?
Explore a large city alone or with a friend, either by roaming freely or entering seven modes built around races, driving, item collection, chasing, hiding, and alien shooting.
The city contains interiors, shops, restaurants, offices, apartments, and other locations to visit. Around 4,000 objects can be picked up, eaten, used, or thrown, with many responding to physics. Travel includes buses, subways, scooters, and an alien hoverboard. Players can inspect citizens’ homes and workplaces, find cultural references, alter many poster and advertisement textures, and use in-world computers with functional browsers. One player hosts the session, while the second joins that host’s computer. Automatic voice chat supports communication during cooperative or competitive play.
