Our take on FUMES
The focus on continuous driving and vehicle combat leaves less room for conventional mission variety or a tightly directed campaign. Its procedural wastelands support roaming and repeated encounters, but players seeking a curated progression structure may find that trade-off limiting.
What is FUMES?
FUMES is a fast-paced car-combat game for solo play or online co-op.
Players drive customizable vehicles through endless procedural wastelands, equip weapons, collect upgrades, and battle enemy waves, chasers, racers, and bosses. Activities include delivering packages while being pursued, off-road challenges, and fights against large wheeled creatures. Beating bosses unlocks cars and parts, while loadouts and stickers provide vehicle customization. The game uses rally-inspired driving physics, continuous travel without loading screens or fast travel, and a guitar-focused soundtrack. Friends can join a single-player world, and loot and progress earned in co-op also carry into solo play. The demo covers the beginning of the full game, with its save transferable to the full release.
