Chesslike keeps the board and movement associated with chess but replaces immediate capture with battles between pieces. Health, Attack, and Defense values change how exchanges work, while defeating the opposing King remains the route to victory.
What is Chesslike?
Chesslike keeps the chessboard and familiar piece movement while changing how pieces interact.
Each piece has Health, Attack, and Defense values, so an attacked piece is not immediately captured. Players must adapt their usual chess strategies to these combat-based exchanges and win by defeating the opposing King. Matches can be played against friends or the AI. The game presents a modified version of chess in which the original movement system remains, while piece statistics and battles create a different route to victory.
