What is Cavity Busters?
Cavity Busters is a roguelite bullet hell starring Gummy The Soft, who explores a changing body kingdom.
Runs take place in handcrafted rooms, with a different body to explore after each death. Combat combines wall-running, jumping, dodging, stomping, and firing and recalling a tooth; well-timed tooth shots can deal extra damage. The game has 317 upgrades and diseases that can add benefits alongside drawbacks. A cure can remove a disease, but its location is unknown, and leaving one behind makes the body more difficult. Ten characters have distinct abilities, and bosses use multiple phases and attacks. There are no permanent stat upgrades. Options can make play more forgiving, including starting with additional health or a power boost, without blocking content.
