We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…

- Action players who enjoy possessing enemies and using their equipment
- Completionists who want to search for secrets and permanent upgrades
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who prefer short, linear campaigns may hit a wall when navigating a map of around 300 rooms.
- Players who dislike losing accumulated progress may bounce off Survival mode when death removes collected equipment and advancement.
- Players seeking combat without exploration may not want the hidden secrets, skill tree, and room-based progression.
- Players looking for a low-pressure experience may find the increasing enemy difficulty and station defenses demanding.
Our take on Ghost 1.0
The bounce point is Survival mode: equipment arrives quickly, but dying removes the progress gathered during the run. Players who want repeated experimentation without that reset may stop there, while the classic mode retains progression as the campaign advances.
What is Ghost 1.0?
Ghost is a metroidvania about infiltrating the Nakamura Space Station to steal an electronic secret.
The protagonist is a digital ghost that remotely controls an android, can leave its chassis, pass through doors and walls, and possess enemy androids to use their equipment. Weapons reload during play and have unlimited ammunition, while different weapons have different strengths and weaknesses. Passive upgrades, usable items, a skill tree, and permanent rewards from hidden secrets support progression. The map contains around 300 rooms divided into zones, each with its own enemies, atmosphere, music, and boss. Classic mode increases equipment and enemy difficulty through progression. Survival provides equipment faster but removes it when the character dies. The story includes English-voiced dialogue and cinematics.
