Our take on Carton
The cardboard presentation receives strong emphasis, while the main structure is a settlement-management loop involving jobs, resources, seasons, nightly defense, and a later castle assault. The listing gives less space to how these systems interact during ordinary town development.
What is Carton?
Carton is a strategy adventure game set in a world made entirely from cardboard.
Players generate and explore a continent, acquire territory, and choose a location for a town. The settlement can be built and developed while residents receive assigned jobs and gather resources. Seasons and temperature changes affect survival, while player actions influence nature. Goblins attack the town each night, requiring the formation of a warrior group for defense. Once prepared, that group can launch an assault on the goblin castle. The setting follows humanity after years of war have left it close to defeat, with goblins holding an advantage through earlier technological development.

- 04Goblin Warfare

- 05Nature Effects
