Our take on C-4
The bounce point arrives during setup: the paired game must use Full Screen Windowed mode, and the workflow calls for developer-console changes to background audio and frame-rate behavior. Players who expect immediate practice without configuring another game may stop there.
What is C-4?
C-4 is a training application for practicing while another game remains open.
It runs alongside games using Full Screen Windowed mode, allowing the background game to continue while C-4 is active. The application can be hidden immediately with the Esc key. Setup involves launching C-4 first, opening the other game, enabling audio while that game is unfocused, and changing its background frame-rate setting through the developer console. C-4 states that it does not alter game configuration files, collect player data, or affect game performance. Its mini-games are presented as practice for brain response and gaming skills during otherwise unused waiting time.
