Our take on Broken Alliance
Rather than relying only on the kingdom-building and tactical battles associated with classic fantasy strategy games, Broken Alliance adds deck construction to combat and gives Champions individual storylines. Its short, replayable narrative also puts player choices at the center of the campaign.
What is Broken Alliance?
Broken Alliance is a turn-based fantasy adventure-strategy game with RPG elements and card-based combat.
Players choose a faction, expand a kingdom, recruit mythical Champions, and build a combat deck using Champions and found artefacts. The story follows a world in decline after magic is overused, with choices shaping how its fate unfolds. Players can pursue Champions’ personal quests, solve ancient puzzles, uncover artefacts, and form or break alliances. Character customization includes 6 fantasy species. The story is described as short and replayable. In Early Access, Anchorage is the only playable faction at first; Paradise, Forge, and Phobos are planned for later updates.
