Our take on Dungeon Deck
Dungeon Deck replaces the usual dungeon map with a deck of cards, making exploration itself part of the card system. Its runs also center on assembling item combinations and responding to newly generated cards, rather than following a fixed dungeon layout.
What is Dungeon Deck?
Dungeon Deck presents dungeon crawling as a card-based roguelike.
Each run uses a randomly created deck, with different items and events to discover. Players collect cards, assemble decks from weapons and abilities such as Wands, Clubs, and Rings, then combine them to create combat effects. The game includes 160+ unique cards, 45+ critters, 10 deck biomes, 10 bosses, and 20 bonus challenge runs. Environments include the Meadows, Forest, and Beach. Cards and coins move across a tabletop during play, while enemies present distinct challenges. Runs take place in a fantasy setting with a tavern, soundtrack, and varied deck environments.
