Our take on BRDG
Rather than using a conventional maze or tile-matching structure, BRDG makes bridge construction the central objective. Its puzzle rules also change over time: later stages let players alter which blocks belong to a moving group.
What is BRDG?
BRDG is a block-pushing puzzle game built around creating bridges.
Blocks may form groups that move together when pushed, requiring careful positioning to connect a route to the endpoint. Later levels add the ability to include blocks in a group or remove them from one, expanding the available movement choices. The game contains 28 levels. Movement uses WASD or the arrow keys, while U or Z undoes a move and R resets the level. Enter or Space selects menu options, and Esc or B returns. BRDG also attempts to configure gamepad controls automatically when a controller is connected before launch.
How BRDG plays
- 01Group-Based Movement
- Blocks joined into a group travel together when the group is pushed.
- 02Changing Block Groups
- Later stages allow blocks to be added to or removed from existing groups.
- 03Undo And Reset
- Moves can be undone with U or Z, while R restarts the current level.
- 04Gamepad Configuration
- The game attempts to set up controller controls when a gamepad is connected before launch.
