Is Project Bridge worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Small groups who want cooperative local or online runs
- Solo players who prefer timed resource gathering and construction
- Runner fans who want changing routes and between-level skill choices
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a fixed campaign may tire of procedurally generated stages and repeated escape runs
- Those who dislike time pressure may hit a wall while collecting materials and building bridges before the void catches up
- Players wanting a combat-focused runner may find the emphasis on gathering, crafting, and construction too limited
- Groups larger than four cannot join the same cooperative run
Our take on Project Bridge
The bounce point arrives when bridge work becomes a timed team task: players must gather materials, process them, and cross obstacles before the void catches up. Solo players also handle those resource and construction responsibilities without co-op partners.
What is Project Bridge?
Project Bridge is a roguelike endless runner with single-player, local co-op, and online multiplayer for up to four people.
Players gather resources, craft building materials, and construct bridges over obstacles while escaping a void. Procedurally generated maps create changing routes through forests, caves, deserts, mines, and other biomes, with non-linear progression between levels. Between stages, a temple allows players to acquire skills, improve existing ones, and choose the next level. More than 23 characters can be unlocked. The Omnomnator processes materials such as wood and ore into bridge supplies, including nails for strengthening wooden bridges. Co-op players can carry heavy items and arrange resources together during the timed escape.
