Our take on Puzzledorf
The relaxing music and colourful presentation frame the game as a calm experience, but its progression eventually reaches brain-breaking puzzles. The gentle opening therefore does not represent the difficulty of the whole game.
What is Puzzledorf?
Puzzledorf is a block-pushing puzzle game based on Sokoban.
Its puzzles use blocks in several colours, which must pass one another through tight spaces before reaching the correct targets. Levels span multiple colourful worlds, with more demanding challenges introduced as play progresses. The game uses 2D pixel art and relaxing music. There is no timer, unlimited undo is available, and colour-blind options are included. Mirror Mode flips each puzzle to create a different arrangement. Steam achievements encourage replaying levels to improve scores. Puzzledorf supports Steam Deck, with cloud saves that carry progress between PC and Steam Deck. The game starts with a gentle learning curve before presenting much harder puzzles.
