Our take on Worm Jazz
The bounce point arrives when a player expects combat or rapid reflex tests: the core loop instead asks for careful route planning through hazards, with unlimited undo and no timers. Those seeking action may lose interest once the maze-solving structure becomes clear.
What is Worm Jazz?
Control Mr.
Mark, an earthworm moving through maze-like puzzle stages set across different environments. Each scenario combines movement inspired by Snake with hazards associated with Bomberman, including mines, wormholes, and explosive chain reactions. The objective is to collect all food on a stage and reach its golden apple. Powerups and unlockable hats add further elements to the progression. The game includes over 50 scenarios, smooth jazz, no time limits, and unlimited undo, allowing stages to be attempted at an individual pace. Worm Jazz received the grand prize at the NM i Gameplay 2020 Norwegian Gameplay Championships, whose theme was “extra life. ”
