Our take on Blind
The focus on sound-based navigation limits conventional visual feedback. Progress depends on listening, interpreting brief environmental outlines, and using audio sources as reference points while moving through the mansion.
What is Blind?
Blind is a narrative-driven psychological thriller built for virtual reality.
The player controls a young woman who wakes in an unfamiliar room with little memory and discovers that she has lost her sight. A cane sends out soundwaves that briefly reveal nearby objects, allowing movement through a mansion filled with puzzles and dangers. Gramophones and other sound-producing objects serve as navigational reference points in the darkness. Exploration follows the Warden’s demands while the player investigates the kidnapping, the mansion, and the protagonist’s missing vision. The game supports binaural audio and motion control, with the story unfolding through environmental navigation, puzzle solving, and the discovery of clues about what is happening.
