What is Beneath?
Beneath is a Lovecraft-inspired survival first-person shooter set in the depths of the arctic ocean.
A 10+ hour single-player campaign follows diver Noah Quinn through research stations as he searches for a cure for his daughter and investigates the Omnium Corporation. Ammunition and other supplies are limited, while soldiers, grotesque creatures, and visions threaten his progress. Players can upgrade weapons, use environmental hazards, and examine emails, PDAs, and survivor accounts to uncover a conspiracy. Destructible environments support close-quarters fights, while a sanity system exposes Noah to visions and Eldritch attacks. The game presents an old-school horror shooter structure with a story-led campaign.
