What is Arcade Paradise VR?
Set in 1993, this VR adventure and light-management game casts the player as Ashley, a teenager taking over the family laundromat in Grindstone.
Daily work includes collecting gum, washing clothes, cleaning a toilet, and tossing rubbish through a basketball-style activity. Money earned from these tasks can fund arcade cabinet purchases and the conversion of the laundromat into an arcade. The game includes 39 purchasable cabinets: 12 VR cabinets and 27 games from the original release, including six cabinets exclusive to VR and six classic cabinets adapted for it. Cabinets offer different formats, stories, missions, and online leaderboard high scores, while the soundtrack includes 10 tracks made for the VR version.
