Our take on Beat Boxer
Rather than using a fixed soundtrack or conventional round structure, the game builds its boxing activity around music selected from external sources. The match becomes a rhythm-led physical routine, with movement, attacks, and scoring tied to the chosen audio.
What is Beat Boxer?
Beat Boxer is a Room-Scale VR boxing game built around music chosen by the player.
It supports songs from YouTube and continuous audio through AirPlay from services and apps including Spotify, Pandora, and iTunes. Players move around the ring, avoid incoming attacks by dipping left or right, and perform jabs and uppercuts in time with the music. Progression runs from featherweight to world champion, with difficulty increasing along the way. Connecting several attacks in succession raises the score. Each song is processed in real time by the game's music analysis software. Scores are recorded on a local leaderboard for comparison with friends.
