Our take on Lems
The compact room-scale format keeps each level focused on platform placement and route analysis, but it requires a dedicated 2m² play area. Players without that space cannot use the game as intended, while those seeking expansive environments may find the constrained layout limiting.
What is Lems?
Lems is a virtual reality reverse-platformer in which players guide small creatures along fixed routes containing obstacles and traps.
Platforms attached to the VR controllers move with the player’s hands and can carry the creatures toward their destination. Four platform types have different properties, requiring level analysis and physical agility. A level can contain up to four spawners, with as many as four Lems per spawner. More than 50 levels are available, with three difficulty modes that can be activated separately or together. Each level occupies a 2m² play area. A scaling system accommodates players approximately 1m50 to 2m20 tall, but a playable area of 2m² is required.
