Our take on ARCADE
ARCADE departs from a single fixed arcade format by combining story levels, endless enemy crowds, gameplay modifiers, local co-op, and leaderboard competition. Restarting after defeat is also part of its stated structure, making repeated attempts central to the experience.
What is ARCADE?
ARCADE is an arcade game centered on shooting enemies and dodging attacks.
After dying, players can press Start and try again. Story Mode contains more than 30 levels and lets players complete the game’s story or play for amusement. Endless Mode features continuous crowds of enemies. Mutator Mode adds different game modifiers for varied play. Local co-op allows two players to destroy enemies together on the same monitor or through Steam Remote Play Together. Steam Leaderboards let players compete with others. The game therefore combines repeated shooting-and-dodging attempts with story levels, endless enemy encounters, optional modifiers, cooperative play, and leaderboard competition.
