Our take on Ars Notoria
Rather than centering survival on gathering and shelter alone, the game adds spell creation, switchable squad members, faction advancement, and branching kingdom stories. Its base-building loop also includes assigned faction tasks and automated settlement systems.
What is Ars Notoria?
Ars Notoria presents a fantasy survival adventure in a large, freely explorable world, playable alone or with others online.
Players travel through woods, plains, underground areas, ancient sites, and additional regions, collecting materials, making gear, and constructing and improving a home base. Magic is divided into six disciplines: Fire, Frost, Poison, Lightning, Chaos, and Holy. Custom spells can be created by mixing sigils with traits. A group of adventurers can be formed, with control moving between members during fights.
Factions provide missions and decision-driven narratives, and their personnel can be given duties including resource collection, defense, equipment production, and investigation. Settlements support automated routines and shared material storage. Animals can be domesticated, while enchanted allies can be called upon to support gathering, protection, and battles.
