Our take on Antiprism
The two-ship control scheme gives the game its central challenge, but also increases the demands on attention and coordination. The VR-only format further narrows where and how it can be played, requiring two controllers and a compatible room setup.
What is Antiprism?
Antiprism is a single-player VR shoot 'em up in which one player controls two ships and their pilots, Jexen and Malik.
The game combines enemy fire, dodging, item collection, credits, ship customization, and system upgrades. Encounters include space pirates, the Selysian Dominion, Kheelee swarms, elite enemies, environmental hazards, and bosses. Its campaign contains main and side missions across multiple chapters, while Endless Survivor mode generates stages procedurally. The story follows the pilots through The Gone as they investigate an ancient artifact and its connection to the extinct Arn civilization. The game requires VR with two controllers and cannot be played using a gamepad, mouse, or keyboard. It supports seated, standing, and room-scale play setups.
