What is Vortex Attack EX?
Vortex Attack EX is an arcade shooter centered on destroying alien vortices across galaxies.
Players choose from available ships, collect energy by defeating enemies, and send that energy into each vortex while its own level continues rising. A vortex can require several stages before destruction, eventually releasing larger enemy swarms. The game includes 11 ship models, each upgradeable through four levels, four difficulty settings, two dimensions with different difficulty and level counts, and hundreds of levels with bosses and bonuses. Up to three players can play locally. Sixteen visual filters, online leaderboards, sci-fi effects, and neo-retro music accompany the arcade-style structure.
