What is Vortex Attack: ボルテックスアタック?
Vortex Attack is an arcade space shooter built around expanding alien vortices.
Each level requires destroying enemies and collecting their energy, then sending that energy into the vortex to reduce its size. The vortex also grows and releases increasingly large enemy waves, creating a contest between the player level and vortex level. Some vortices require several stages before they can be destroyed, and completed vortices release especially dangerous swarms. Players choose from 11 ship models, with each ship upgradeable through four levels and offering different combinations of speed, health, firepower, multishot, and add-ons. The game includes bosses, bonus content, hundreds of levels, up to three simultaneous local players, Steam leaderboards, more than 70 achievements, and regular tournaments.
