Our take on Angeline Era
Its defining mechanic is Bumpslash combat: walking into an enemy automatically performs the attack, making movement itself the basis of its fighting system.
What is Angeline Era?
Angeline Era is a 3D action-adventure set across an unmarked overworld where levels and zones must be found through exploration.
Players travel through forests, ruins, mountains, mines, towns, and other areas while uncovering lore connected to Fae, Angels, and Humans. Its Bumpslash combat makes the character attack by walking into enemies, with subweapons and a gun available for added variety. Bosses and hazards test this combat system, while towns provide item shopping and levels award Scales for progression. The story follows ex-soldier Tets Kinoshta and the Angel Arkas Gemini as they seek a crashed mothership behind a storm. A first playthrough takes 20–30 hours on average, depending on exploration and pace.
