Exploration leads through 20 rooms containing strange organisms, hidden areas, visions, Easter eggs, and environmental mysteries. Gameplay combines object-based puzzles, mini-games, first-person shooting, and investigation. More than 100 objects can be picked up and used, while a device that reveals glimpses of the future provides hints for difficult problems. The game presents a 1960s pulp science-fiction atmosphere through 3D environments, manipulable objects, and atmospheric sound. The stated campaign length is over 8 hours.
