Our take on Airport Madness: Time Machine
The focus on short control scenarios trades away the continuity of a single, uninterrupted airport-management campaign. Historical development is also paired with fictional detours, including a steampunk 1802 setting and a speculative 2173 airport.
What is Airport Madness: Time Machine?
Act as a tower controller as an airfield evolves through history.
It begins as a modest grassy site in 1925, becomes a wartime facility with multiple runways in 1944, and reaches international scale by 1970, featuring jetliners and multiple terminals. The game offers 60 stages, generally taking 5–15 minutes according to performance. Completed stages remain available for replay. Historical milestones include Lindbergh, the sound barrier, the arrival of passenger jets, and the Boeing 737. Optional settings extend the timeline to a fictional steampunk 1802 and an imagined 2173, where aircraft travel extremely fast and controllers must respond rapidly.
