Our take on Achilles: Survivor
The premise emphasizes huge enemy waves and heroic combat, while the core loop also depends on limited resources and deliberate structure placement. Progress carries between attempts, but individual runs still end in defeat or completion, making repetition central rather than incidental.
What is Achilles: Survivor?
Achilles: Survivor is a single-player, top-down action roguelite set in mythic Greece.
Each run sends a chosen hero through escalating waves of enemies, with bosses and an Overlord appearing as the challenge deepens. Combat combines evolving powers with a structure-building system: players can place traps, flame turrets, healing shrines, and allied summons while managing limited resources. The roster includes more than 15 legendary survivors, each with a distinct playstyle and signature power. Runs offer normal, short, and endless modes across 4 handcrafted realms, including Troy and Greek coastlines. Completing challenges grants Favors, treasures, new characters, and permanent upgrades that carry into later attempts.
