Our take on 8 Eyes
The fortress-and-boss structure gives the quest a clear sequence, but leaves less room for activities outside combat and jewel retrieval. Cooperative play uses the same central campaign rather than a separate multiplayer format.
What is 8 Eyes?
In a world recovering from nuclear war, dukes have seized the eight jewels known as the 8 Eyes and banished the Great King.
Play as Orin the Falconer, one of the King’s Guardsmen, and reclaim the jewels from the dukes’ fortresses. Orin fights mercenaries and mutated creatures, including living skeletons, giant wasps, and mud men. Each fortress has a boss guarding one jewel, and the recovered jewels must be returned to the Altar of Peace. Orin is accompanied by his fighting falcon, Cutrus. The game includes a simultaneous cooperative mode for two players and password-based level selection.
