Exploration and creature collecting take the place of a purely linear platforming route. Levels can also scroll sideways, move forward, or rotate around the character, while jet bike stages and racing minigames add activities beyond the platforming campaign.

Blender Bros.
is an interplanetary platform adventure focused on exploring and collecting 20 Mini Bros. Blender can jump, fly, climb, use sonar, and attack with a spinning move. The Mini Bros. grant abilities such as recovering health or lighting dark areas, and can be evolved into creatures with new abilities. The campaign spans seven planets, with four levels on each planet, for 21 levels in total.
Eight boss battles interrupt the exploration; each planet's boss has specific attack modes and is protected by smaller creatures. Some stages use a jet bike to travel through 3-D environments while searching for items. Three racing minigames offer solo or multiplayer competition, including obstacle-dodging races and a 3-D race. Levels can scroll sideways, forward, or rotate around the character.
