Our take on Noah's Ark
The focused side-scrolling format keeps the objective clear, but it also limits the range of movement and combat choices. Progress centers on rescuing assigned animals, pellet attacks, and an end-stage enemy rather than on broader systems or extensive exploration.
What is Noah's Ark?
Noah's Ark is a side-scrolling action game about rescuing animals before a flood.
Noah travels to levels set in different world locations, selecting which area to enter. Each stage involves moving left and right, ducking, jumping, and firing pellets straight ahead. Pellets can defeat hostile creatures and reveal concealed items. People have captured animal species, and Noah must reach and free the designated animals listed for each level. A stronger creature appears at the end of every stage as a final opponent. The central objective is to recover the required animals and place two of each species aboard Noah's ark.

- 03End-Level Enemies
- Each stage concludes with a stronger creature that must be defeated.
- 04Animal Rescue Goals
- Every level identifies captive animals that Noah must recover.
Noah's Ark compared to similar games
Noah's Ark uses discrete side-scrolling stages, direct pellet fire, and animal-rescue targets. SUPER CHICKEN JUMPER combines running, jumping, dodging, and shooting, while Sundered: Eldritch Edition is described as a metroidvania with a broader exploration structure and chaotic combat.
