What is Destroy Space Aliens?
Destroy Space Aliens is a retro side-scrolling action/adventure set in a castle overrun by invading space aliens after Legendary Sir Frank Jones V disappears.
Players use a sword and blaster while enemies use the environment to surprise and outwit them. The game includes more than 10 boss fights, three endings determined by in-game actions, a password system, an original soundtrack, and four colors. It supports speedrunning and sequence breaking, with no random number generation. On Steam’s beta branch, the item randomizer changes item locations in the Metroidvania section according to a seed entered at the start of a run, allowing the same arrangement to be played again.
