What is Abberbury?
Abberbury is an action-adventure game set in the Dark Ages.
Sire Reed Abberbury and his Viking companion Gunnar travel through Donington Castle to confront Reed’s uncle, Norton, and reclaim Reed’s father’s legacy. The castle contains locked levels, hostile swordsmen, pikemen, engineers, alchemists, and lions. Players must also navigate hazards including pikes, ballistas, axes, and falling rocks. The route passes through several medieval settings, including secret passages, an alchemist laboratory, barracks, a jail, and a palace. Bosses require different methods for defeating them. Common-screen cooperative play lets friends tackle the castle’s enemies, traps, and other obstacles together.
