Our take on ZUSI 3 - Aerosoft Edition
The listing foregrounds professional training use and a high level of realism, but the included editors are available only in German. The package also depends on a specialized railway-operation format built around timetables, signalling, protection systems, and detailed driving procedures.
What is ZUSI 3 - Aerosoft Edition?
Zusi 3 - Aerosoft Edition is a PC train simulator focused on railway operations.
It includes 10 routes from different eras and more than 500 kilometres of track, including Cologne–Düsseldorf. Players drive scheduled services while hundreds of other trains run in the same timetable, with an autopilot controlling those trains. The simulation models driving and braking behaviour, signalling, timetables, train protection systems, door protection, and different drive and brake systems. Adjustable assistance levels provide a less strict setting for beginners.
Keyboard and mouse controls are supported alongside driver’s desk hardware. Included editors allow the creation of timetable scenarios, vehicles, and tracks; these editors are available only in German. Additional routes, vehicles, and timetables can be downloaded and added to the simulator.
