Our take on Your Friend's Mom
Rather than presenting a conventional simulation with tasks or systems to manage, this title centers on an ongoing roleplaying conversation with a desktop character. Steam-friend selection supplies the setup, while posing, emotions, and cursor reactions replace traditional progression.
What is Your Friend's Mom?
This desktop companion uses a local, on-device language model to roleplay as the mother of one of the user's Steam friends.
On launch, it selects a friend at random, with an option to change the context during chat. The 3D character can be placed anywhere on the desktop, resized, and customized with 3 outfits, 16 poses, and 7 emotions. Her model tracks mouse movement and reacts to the cursor. Conversations can range from brief small talk to longer exchanges through the chat interface.
