The game concentrates its choices on judicial work and career consequences. That focus gives the courtroom decisions room to matter, but limits the experience mainly to reviewing cases, consulting witnesses, and choosing between competing positions.
What is You are the Judge!?
Play as a new judge in Kobardde after completing a long career as a lawyer.
The story begins with choices about Richard’s life, from his youth through the judge’s exam, and these choices affect his career. In court, examine case files, consult witnesses, and decide cases involving people and groups affected by the country’s conflicts. The files are inspired by actual events and can include bribery among their mechanics. Decisions affect the lives of one or both parties, the judge’s career, and the game’s eventual ending. Courtroom scenes use designed environments and animations, while different decisions provide access to different conclusions.
