Our take on Yeetus
Players who fire without checking the remaining terrain may bounce off when a missed judgment removes their footing and sends them into a fatal fall. The pressure comes from treating the arena as both ammunition and the platform needed to survive.
What is Yeetus?
Yeetus is a casual time-survival game with roguelite elements where the terrain beneath the character serves as ammunition.
Players remove sections of the battlefield and launch them at alien enemies, balancing attacks with the need to preserve a safe platform. Different foes pressure different skills: some close in, others attack from range, and explosive enemies can destroy nearby terrain. Runs include upgrade choices that shape offensive, defensive, and movement abilities, while gold funds permanent improvements. New levels and characters become available over time. Yeetus Regulus offers balanced abilities, Yeetus Speedus trades durability for speed and a dash, and Yeetus Maximus moves slowly but has greater health and damage plus a damage-reflecting berserk ability.
How Yeetus plays
- 01Terrain Projectiles
- Sections of the surrounding floor can be removed and fired at enemies, but careless shots reduce the available battlefield.
- 02Run-Based Upgrades
- Each session presents upgrade choices that can favor defense, mobility, or attack strength.
- 03Permanent Improvements
- Gold earned during games can be spent on upgrades that remain available across runs.
- 04Playable Characters
- Regulus, Speedus, and Maximus provide different combinations of balance, speed, durability, damage, and special abilities.
- 05Enemy Variety
- Close-range biters, ranged tentacle enemies, and explosive boomers create different positioning and aiming demands.
