Our take on Xon
Rather than keeping players inside one shared map, the game gives each participant a separate world and lets them interfere through gates. Its multiplayer structure also draws on the idea of sending disruptive elements into another player's game, while scoring ends after a set period.
What is Xon?
Xon is a real-time god game in which players create and control separate worlds.
Miracles can alter the land and influence populations, while structures, societies, soldiers, and resources develop under player direction. Players may play alone or compete and cooperate with others. Each world can send soldiers and resources through gates to other players, and players must defend their land while forming alliances. The multiplayer design allows players to affect rival worlds while managing their own.
Players earn points for accomplishments, with victory determined at the end of a set period. Players outside the top ten cannot be targeted by others, and there is no stated limit on the number of participants. The game also includes a global online scoreboard and post-game tracking.
