Our take on Ticket to Ride®
Instead of a campaign or continuous management structure, play is organized into separate matches. The central contest is about choosing tickets and routes on a shared map, and the final round is triggered when a player has only a few train pieces left.
What is Ticket to Ride®?
Ticket to Ride brings the railway board game to digital platforms through online competition, invite-only matches, turn-based games spanning multiple days, same-room multiplayer, and solo contests against computer-controlled rivals.
Players receive destination objectives and coloured train cards, then choose to collect cards, draw another objective, or spend cards to occupy a connection between cities. Map choice can change the number of objectives and cards dealt at the start. Once someone has only three or fewer train pieces available, the closing round is triggered.
Points come from fulfilling objectives, linking cities, and creating the longest continuous line, with victory going to the top scorer. Maps based on different countries introduce distinct rules and rewards. The game also provides rankings, story-based characters, and expansions featuring additional locomotives and carriages.
