Our take on XenoRaptor
The focus on rapid combat, weapon construction, and enemy-fire manipulation leaves less room for slower exploration or low-pressure play. Its demanding battles and build choices also place more emphasis on combat mastery than on a simple fixed-arsenal structure.
What is XenoRaptor?
XenoRaptor is a high-speed twin-stick shooter in which players control a cyberdragon against swarms of rocket-powered chainsaws and a space skeleton armada.
It includes single-player play as well as online and LAN cooperative modes for 8 players. Destroyed enemies leave components that can be used to assemble varied weapons, including laser-guided launchers, teleporting devices, and singularity cannons. Different weapon and character builds support varied combat styles. Enemies can flank, snipe, cloak, and teleport, while friendly fire applies to every attack, allowing enemy weapons to be turned against other foes. After enough regular enemies are destroyed, battles lead to large bosses such as the Killdozer, Bullet Devil, and Terror Fortress Omega.
