World of Aircraft: Glider Simulator focuses on visual flight rules flying in gliders and tow aircraft.
It includes five usable aircraft: the Diamond HK36 Dimona, LET L-13 Blaník, Schleicher ASK21, Schleicher ASK21 Mi, and PLZ-104 Wilga. Training covers multiple stages for the Wilga and Blaník, while free flight is available with every model. Multiplayer supports aero-tow flights. The simulation covers a 2,500 km² handcrafted area near Mannheim and the Rhine, with Herrenteich and Speyer airports. Its flight model calculates aerodynamic forces across separate aircraft surfaces, while thermals develop, fade, and move with the wind. The interface, radio, and audio are available in six languages.
