Our take on Wolfstride
Rather than centering an RPG on dungeon runs or a large roster of recruitable fighters, Wolfstride builds its structure around one customizable mecha, odd jobs in Rain City, and one-on-one tournament battles tied to the crew’s past.
What is Wolfstride?
Wolfstride follows three former partners-in-crime who reunite after inheriting Cowboy, a damaged junkyard mecha.
The team enters the Ultimate Golden God Tournament while trying to earn money and confronting choices from their past. Between matches, Duque repairs Cowboy, replaces components, installs improvements, and adds weapons for different opponents. Dominic Shade explores Rain City, where six establishments connect the crew with characters, jobs, support, and insults. Battles take place one on one in turn-based arenas. Positioning, targeted attacks, defensive actions, and preparation shape each fight as the team faces mecha opponents from around the world.
How Wolfstride plays
- 01Mecha Customization
- Cowboy can receive replacement parts, upgrades, and weapons between tournament fights.
- 02Rain City Jobs
- Dominic can visit six establishments offering jobs, assistance, and encounters with local characters.
- 03Turn-Based Duels
- Arena fights use positioning, aimed attacks, and defensive moves against a single opposing robot.
