Our take on Wizard Shrimp
Players who avoid high-risk route choices may bounce off the tile system when selecting enemy tiles repeatedly becomes the way to gain the most power, while also increasing the risk of dying before the boss.
What is Wizard Shrimp?
Play as a wizard shrimp battling through a slimy swamp, amethyst caves, and the Mushroom Wizard’s Tower toward a final boss.
The game combines bullet-hell combat with roguelite progression through upgrades and power-ups. Each area uses a randomly generated tile system for route selection. Players can place a campfire after an enemy encounter, or choose enemy tiles continuously until the boss for greater power with a higher risk of death. Krill points power up the shrimp and open harder difficulties in the Cauldron. Pixel-art graphics accompany a soundtrack mixing digital and analogue sounds with naturalistic samples.
