Our take on SushiParty
Rather than building its shooter structure around extensive controls or a rotating viewpoint, SushiParty limits input and keeps the world view fixed. Its unusual premise also replaces a conventional military conflict with shrimp, tuna, and sushi competing over the galaxy.
What is SushiParty?
SushiParty is a shooter about shrimp battling tuna after tuna takes control of all sushi and rules the galaxy.
The game offers three modes aimed at both beginners and core action-game players. Controls use a small set of inputs: twin-stick controller controls with the triggers, or mouse clicks and WASD on keyboard. Stages save automatically, allowing progress to resume from the completed stage. A restart option lets players begin again from a stage soon after finishing it. The presentation uses a fixed world view without rotation, accompanied by sound effects and limited reading. SushiParty is available as a paid Steam game.
