Our take on Witchblood
Players looking for extended progression may bounce off once the 2–3-hour story concludes. Those who need clear explanations may hit a wall when reality starts distorting and the house’s clues leave the boundary between events and nightmares deliberately uncertain.
What is Witchblood?
Witchblood is a first-person psychological horror game set inside a neglected house shaped by an old ritual.
Its brief, 2–3-hour campaign focuses on investigating rooms, inspecting the environment, uncovering concealed details, and completing puzzles. Evidence scattered throughout the building reveals a family history involving sorrow, fixation, and bereavement. Strange occurrences and environmental storytelling gradually make reality difficult to distinguish from nightmares. The narrative emerges through the building itself and remnants left by those who lived there. During the investigation, an unseen watcher and mysterious disturbances create an increasingly tense atmosphere. The game also includes bright, intermittent illumination that can provoke epileptic seizures.
