Our take on Baisu
Rather than centering the horror on combat or constant pursuit, Baisu frames its mystery around an artist family's paintings, a detective's investigation, and a bodycam viewpoint. The dog companion and multiple endings add investigation and companionship elements to a psychological-horror structure.
What is Baisu?
In Baisu, Detective Clay Kriest responds to an emergency message from a remote Maple Street residence.
The case involves Jolie Smith, an acclaimed painter, her relatives, and mysteries embedded in her artwork. Players investigate a woodland home, inspect unsettling locations, and face a dangerous paranormal force with Bella, a faithful canine companion. The psychological horror uses a realistic body-camera viewpoint and flashlight behavior shaped around that perspective. Optional microphone permission enables nearby voice-command functions during play. Any captured sound is handled and retained on the device itself, without being sent elsewhere, examined, or provided to others. The investigation traces the Smith family’s history, offers different conclusions, and challenges Clay’s ability to preserve his sanity.
