Play it if you…
Good fit- Groups of friends who want cooperative horror with comedic bodily-pressure mechanics
- Players who enjoy procedurally generated exploration with blocked paths and haunted puzzles
- Horror-comedy fans who want combat, scavenging, and character transformations in the same game
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a calm or predictable adventure may hit a wall when fear, stress, food choices, and bowel pressure must be managed during exploration.
- Players looking for a polished, serious horror tone may bounce off the toilet humor, poop transformations, and throwable bodily jokes.
- Solo players are not the target for a game centered on teaming up with friends.
- Players who prefer fixed mansion layouts may dislike procedurally generated passages and changing routes.
Our take on We Gotta Go
The bounce point arrives when exploration becomes a bodily-management system: food, fear, stress, and farting all affect the race to the bathroom. Players who came for conventional ghost combat may instead hit the wall at the toilet-focused pressure mechanics and poop-based respawn loop.
What is We Gotta Go?
This cooperative horror-comedy game puts a group of players in a haunted mansion searching for its only bathroom.
The team explores procedurally generated corridors, gathers useful items, opens blocked routes, solves puzzles, and battles or distracts ghosts with lanterns, unusual weapons, and throwable furniture. Fear, stress, and food choices affect bowel pressure, while farting provides a way to reduce it. Players who fail can return as playable pieces of poop before being reborn with new clothing. Corpses provide outfits, and the mansion includes locked, concealed, and haunted passages. The central objective is to survive the mansion and escape through the bathroom.
How We Gotta Go plays

- 03Ghost Encounters
- Lanterns, unconventional weapons, and furniture can be used while facing supernatural enemies.
- 04Playable Poop Forms
- A failed character can return as a controllable poop before being reborn with another outfit.
