Our take on Wars of Napoleon
Its focus on command across military and political systems comes with a slower, more involved style of play: army organization, logistics, and diplomacy all require attention alongside campaigns.
What is Wars of Napoleon?
Command one of seven major nations during the Napoleonic era, managing armies, supply, diplomacy, and national decisions.
Military play includes creating and organizing armies and corps, assigning generals, directing fleets, building depots, and supplying troops through foraging or captured regional resources. Political choices cover treaties, coalitions, reforms, resource use, and events with multiple possible outcomes. Scenarios include the 1805–1815 Grand Campaign, with January and August start dates, along with campaigns at Austerlitz and Jena and a Waterloo scenario. The map covers more than 4,000 European regions, with additional areas including the West Indies, North America, Persia, and India. Optional alternate-history settings let players change some possible developments of the war.
