Our take on Warlock - Master of the Arcane
The broad campaign structure trades immediate simplicity for layered decisions across cities, territory, research, armies, diplomacy, gods, and artifacts. This design requires attention to several connected systems instead of focusing only on battles or a single unit.
What is Warlock - Master of the Arcane?
Play as a mage and warlord competing for control of Ardania.
Build cities, expand territory, research spells, create enchantments, and command armies whose units have distinct abilities. Victory can come through military conquest, diplomacy, or magic. City management removes routine actions and makes each decision part of the campaign. Players can serve one of eight gods, complete quests, and establish temples across the map. The Complete Collection includes the base game and expansions featuring the Dremer, Arethi Elves, artifacts, the Koatl reptilian race, additional Great Mages, perks, units, buildings, and lords. Artifacts can be created, found, earned through quests, acquired from a trader, exchanged for mana, and gained or lost in battles.
