Our take on Voidigo
The clearest sticking point is a boss leaving mid-fight: players must decide whether to pursue or regroup, and waiting too long brings the boss after them. Anyone who wants each encounter to stay contained in one arena may hit that pressure point quickly.
What is Voidigo?
Voidigo is an animated action roguelite shooter centered on hunting bosses corrupted by the Void.
Choose ranged or melee weapons, dodge attacks, and use stomps to stun enemies. Bosses can leave a fight, creating a choice between chasing them and regrouping; if too much time passes, they start hunting the player. During battles, collect power-ups that can combine into synergies, and trade weapons and resources to adjust a playstyle. The game pairs its boss encounters and combat systems with zany weapons and playful humor.
How Voidigo plays
- 01Boss pursuit choices
- When a boss escapes, players can follow it or regroup, but waiting too long prompts it to hunt them.
- 02Weapon and resource trades
- Trading weapons and resources lets players adjust their combat setup.
- 03Power-up synergies
- Collected power-ups can combine to create synergies during battles.
- 04Stomp attacks
- Stomps stun enemies, adding a way to disrupt them alongside dodging.
